thanx god the rats nest is gone!!!!

Well after 2 hours I got it all out and she is running very strong full boost @3500 rpms:D I am very happy about that! and no more dam vaccum hose's well 7 of them bu who is counting:) antways I suggest if you have some spare time and 2 packs of 330ohm resistors go for it it was real easy and does not take any time what so ever.cost about 2 bucks for the resitors and well that was it. now the bay is real clean looking and wont take any time to track down a boost leak if I get one:)

so if anyone is intrested in doing this mod let me know! real easy and not very difficult.

What do you mean it takes no time? You said it took you 2 hours!!! Are you Focking crazy Ryan. Haa.
Forealdo chit chit Let me see the new clean looking engine bay pics.;.. Donkey;)

kundo 06-28-02 12:38 AM

Can anybody do this mod or do you have to be non-sequential or single turbo only?

Fd3BOOST 06-28-02 12:51 AM

Well yea considering you need those lines to run the sequential system. Go read some dude???!!

That was an answer to your second question.

7-sins 06-28-02 12:54 AM

Damn I will have to see this when you drop by tomorrow...

c00lduke 06-28-02 01:00 AM

i've had the turbo simplifacation setup on my car for a while, so i still had twins but less solenoids and tubes. So i had already gotten rid of those, the only thing would be that i 'm not quite sure what hoses need to be there that have nothing to do with turbo control. I've seen one vacuum hose diagram of the non-seq but it still left out the two hoses that run to the top of the engine block for oil metering or something.
So if you could dontbearikki take a pic of what you still have under there and what all the 7 hoses are that are still there.

Thanks
~Luke

I am having boost issues, a write up would be nice!:) Wish I could make the bbq

zooq 06-28-02 02:36 AM

Told you it was cake to do! It would have been WAY easier with a PFC though...;)

Okay, here's Jspecracer7's write up of how to take out the rats nest:

1. unbolt UIM and take out ALL hoses from underneath.

2. take out double throttle plates and plug up.

3. run new silicone hoses to boost gauge, fuel pressure regulator, oil injection plugs, map sensor, BOV, whatever you need.

4. plug remaining lines out.

That about how it went Ryan?;)

RedFD 06-28-02 10:36 AM

Wow I cant wait to see this!

No Resistors!:D Nice hoses, I used those ones too. I still have my four solenoids for the turbos and fuel. No emissions though.:)

Emissions is for tree hugging honda civics...

Solenoids? I just went non-sequential...no need!:D

Mr rx-7 tt 06-28-02 11:02 AM

you want your old soleniods.? I could use the last 3 in the back bottom row...

hmmm...I've got a pile of them somewhere. Why you want them? Break them doing a hose job? Let me know..

Yeah, everytime someone brings up emissions...I think of Ryan...and tree hugging hippies;)

jpandes 06-28-02 12:20 PM

I did the non-seq mod. But I'm not getting full boost until 4800 rpm. Could it be the M2 ECU?

2 hott 06-28-02 12:26 PM

Do you need a PFC to do it or can it be run on a reprogramed ECU?

With a pfc, you won't need to put resistors in like Ryan(dont be a rikki).

With a reprogrammed ECU, you will have to
