Take a look at these twins

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-9...=p4506.c0.m245

According to you: non-seq modified?
Pre-spool actator missing + waste gate side manifold seemed to have been ported a bit...

I've never seen this and therefore wonder if they are non-seq.

This is not mentioned in the add.

Cheers

I don't have any answers for you but Japan2LA here on the forum often has some good condition turbos for sale. Might want to touch base with him.

they look like they've been taken apart before (notice the color difference on the center exhaust section compared to the other two) so there's a good chance they are non-seq (judging by only 1 wg actuator)

They dont look like they have been taken apart before because of the discoloration of the center part. Sometimes due to the fact that the center is the part that the downpipe connects to and where both of the turbo's exhaust is expelled to, it gets hotter which will cause a different coloring. It is hard to tell from the pictures but someone may have converted it to non sequential. That or they just didnt know how to remove them properly and took off things that they didnt have to.

If they tried to convert them to non-sequential they failed miserably. It looks like someone removed them and just removed some extra parts. They removed the wastegate actuator. Definitely not a nonsequential setup. They could still be ran either way.

To give you more info they appear to have come from a healthy engine and not one with a blown seal. The tanish color indicates it was running a healthy A/F ratio and doesnt look like it was burning oil. This still doesnt gaurantee they dont have some damaged turbine wheels but it is a good sign none the less.
