Switching

Ok im about to switch to synthetic oil. Basically my main concern is if my car will have any problems running with a "dirty" oil mixture that would be mostly synthetic because of the oil coolers? Should I flush the oil before putting the synthetic in?

I switched to Royal Purple about 1500 miles ago. No problems yet, I figure the first batch would "flush" out any old oil.

A long time ago, synthetics and dino oil didn't mix, but nowadays, the mix is pretty seamless.

youll be ok, by the 2nd oil change you will have clensed your oil system. Synthetic will mix with mineral oil.
