Supra fuel pump on stock injectors

I tried to search but couldn't really find it. I'm changing my fuel pump to a supra pump but have the stock injectors. I have a pfc, emissions deleted, straight exhaust, arc intake and few other mods but want to know, will the increase fuel pressure screw anything up? Will I run rich or will it be ok? I didn't know if I'm suppose to do anything or just throw it in :lol::lol:

youll be running richer... idk if thats an issue to you

with proper tuning you can run the afr you want; i have run it for a year or so with stock injectors prior to moving to larger ones and no issues at all

K, so it should just make it a bit richer but that'll just be more cushion for boost leak? Guess I should just get my car tuned? =P

More cushion for boost leak? You mean more cushion for boost spike/creep.

lol no wonder when my wastegate hose popped off and i was spiking all over the place my engine was fine lol.

Thank god for supra pump.

And yes i think it does make you run richer. Upon cold startup i have to properly warm up the car otherwise it will buck and act funny if i try to drive it as soon as i start it. I Think thats because of it running rich.

Your fuel pressure will still be limited by the stock regulator, but it would be a good idea to adjust the tune.

Alright. Thanks guys! Would it be better just to get an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator?

IRPerformance 03-06-11 02:04 PM

No, not unless you are going with aftermarket secondary injectors and fuel rail. Have the tune checked and adjusted if necessary.

Is this a brand new Supra Pump you are using?

oppa637 03-06-11 10:44 PM

Yea, I'm going with a brand new one. If i'm going to go ahead and get a tune, should i get 1300cc secondarys first and get it over with?
