steering problems

i have a 1997 rx7 s7 and i have a steering problem the steering goes real hard when i am terning hard right never when terning left its like power steering stops working have changed the oil and put a new belt on to still no success and suggestions?

it sounds like you are turning the wheel faster than your power steering can keep up.

I have not done it in an fd, but i have turned the wheel from a left hand turn to a sharp right, and you can out run the ps.

However, I have done this while autocrossing primarily.

its not a speed thing tho it more like the pump and pumping the right pressure or something but it only does it turning 1 way its almost like the computer terns the pump off if it can!
