Then look at the block off plates, vacuum line. Did you take off the UIM for anything?

I haven't even driven it since I put the turbos on.

I've removed the ACV and double throttle and thats it in regards to block off plates, I running a flashed JDM ECU thats good for downpipe, catback, intercooler, intake.
hmmmm. what condition and what type of gaskets were used on the turbo manifold to block when you put the BNR unit? and did you remove the upper intake manifold to lower intake manifold? if so i would also inspect that gasket sometimes if using a paper gasket between the UIM and LIM they go bad and leak, and start to act like a reed when air squeezes past it.
I installed brand new gaskets for the manifold and the turbo and the downpipe, the LIM to UIM was in decent condition.
try the bubble test if all gaskets are replaced that shouldnt be the problem. if the bubble test yields nothing next step is inspecting the turbos.
Whats the bubble test again?

Never thought about it but is it ok to start the engine with the UIM off?

car wont start, you need to have your TPS working and the other sensors that are on the bottom of the UIM for the car to run. |
So spray everything I can, let the car run a bit, then turn it off take the UIM off and examine...sound right?

Roger, I'll do that tomorrow. Really the more I think about it i might be the gasket between the UIM and LIM.

So it was a grounding wire that kept getting caught between the LIM and UIM so now all I have to do is find my vacuum leak. I'm going to go over my hoses and piping tomorrow. Thanks for the input, I'll update you as it happens.
glad to hear that!!!
check the hoses on the air pump.or disconnect the air pump and see what happens. it maybe the pulley seizing
Air pump, ACV, and cat are gone.
At the risk of sounding stupid, Wouldn't the car be running in vacuum at idle? So when you spray soapy water on the rats nest looking for leaks wouldn't it be sucking it in instead of blowing bubbles? I've always just stuck beer bottles in my air intake pipes and used an air compressor to pressurize the manifold through the brake booster hose.
Ok I cannot find my vacuum leak, I took it on a drive and it was boosting but not getting a lot of power but according to my AEM boost gauge I was hitting 14psi but no vacuum at idle, any ideas?

AEM, mechanical type.
Thats weird..... do you possibly have another boost gauge to test?
I don't.
do a quick test with your gauge, put some hose on the back of it and suck on it see if the needle moves in the direction of vacuum.
