Exclamation Some Help Please

I have a stock 93 R-1. I had problems with the car running rich. I had a shop check it out and a bad water thermosensor was found. I replaced the sensor myself, started the car and it was running fine. Once the temp was up I drove it and after a few hard accelerations the engine lost all power it hardly had enough power to drive home. It is not smoking but it barley runs. I reset the computer(removed neg. battery cable wait 20 sec. and press brake is that right ?) The map sensor is connected and the water temp sensor is also connected. Could the plugs have fowled while driving hard? Any help would be great

You've obviously got some other issues besides the water thermosensor to deal with that is causing your car to run poorly. You say "it was running fine", but as soon as you got on the throttle, it started running poorly, correct? In that case, it wasn't running "fine". What do you mean by "car running rich"? How did you ascertain this?

It drove for a few miles getting proper boost and acceleration. The car was flooding when hot and wouldn't pass emmisions

What is your vacuum (and RPM) at idle?
