I know! You got a haircut :D

What's that black thing where the battery used to be in the 2nd pic?

airborne 07-10-03 09:46 AM

actually i did get a haircut! but thats not it.

the black thing is part of it, recognize it? i'll give you a hint, you have one in your car too.

Alien7 07-10-03 10:02 AM

you moved your fuse boxes? :)

93blackrx 07-10-03 10:06 AM

I don't know what that black thing is where your battery used to be, but thats different. Looks like you did a little more wiring with some relays also.

did I get it? what did I win?

intake

airborne 07-10-03 10:22 AM

Hey Alien7 got it first...you get uh, i don't know but i'll think of something.

i relocated the fusebox by the front bumper and also the one where the pos battery cable hooks up, here's a better pic of where that went.

https://www.rx7club.com/forum/attach...postid=1949053

it was such a pain. i think it was four extensions for the battery fuse box, and like 6 for the other one. plus my car was in a front end collision before i got it and the wiring harness was a mess, had to cut a couple of hopelessly tangled wires and resplice em.

the extra relay is just for the IC fan.

now my plan is to find a small fan to mount on that fender liner and vent air out there, it'll be run on the same switch as the ic fan.

also, with the fuse box by the front out of the way i could either run a wider IC duct, or route air to the intake that way.

btw, all that ghetto aluminum and duct tape worked to keep temps down around the filters. but it just hurt to look at so no more.

93blackrx 07-10-03 10:45 AM

what did the clue have to do with anything? what do we have in our hair?

Matt

airborne 07-10-03 10:51 AM
