Originally posted by widebody2 trust you are in Japan bro. If I was looking to sell I'd price it at 13, looking to buy I'd say like 11-12. there are way better deals out there. Thats not including the veilside which only a kid is going to want anyway it's sad here cause I see a lot of FD's go for less than 4 or 5 gand. They are not all nice but you can find some nice ones for cheap. |

prices in California are definitely higher. that said, if you're not strapped for cash, sell it for as much as you think it's worth. personally, i put more value on the condition of the overall car than the mileage on the engine.

I paid 15 flat for my 93 R1 (which was taken care of like a baby) with a rebuilt Tranny and Reman engine @ 78k miles, a new 5th gear @ 80k and 91k total on the car. The car came with a brand new not even unrapped Isamu turbo kit from apexi and their FMIC as well as a downpipe which were just purchased but never installed.
So im going to have to say 17 is alot and youre still on the origonal engine, maybe 14 with the kit but i dont think youll get much more. |
i think u just got a kick ass deal..

For anything else other than a 7, yes. You have to factor in, that if buying a car with very high engine miles, that very soon you will be paying 3k+ for a new engine. So you may pay 17k for the car but end up playing 20+ because you need a new engine in 5-6 months. |
veilside body kit = :(

Seems a bit too high for the mileage, but I too myself like to see FDs go for higher prices. :D
Originally posted by TRUST i have a 93' and got it for under $7,000 had a few mods on it already and only had 89,000 km on it, i think thats roughly about 69,000 miles or so. |
Would you guys pay $15k for a stock mint fd with 60k on chassis and engine needing a rebuild?
