One Question, what is that crazy piece of plexigalss on the hood for ? Bugs ? It Certainly isn't aerodynamics...

Here's one of an RC Car :

Probably for wind tunnel testing :crzyeye:

gotorx7 07-18-08 08:34 PM

Lots of Jap Police Cars seem to have that plexiglass..

I'd guess it is a stone deflector?

trickshot 07-18-08 08:57 PM

Putting a prisoner in the back seat would be considered cruel and unusual punishment.

DCrosby 07-18-08 09:03 PM

Having to stare at the back of their heads with those "Space Balls" inspired safety helmets is Cruel and Highly Unusual ! :rlaugh:

haha wow nice catch!

spekdah 07-19-08 06:42 AM

any specs on the engine/performance?

Dudemaaanownsanrx7 07-19-08 09:58 AM

you can tell they arent too concerned with going fast between the 6 " chunk of plastic on the hood and the 18" siren/light assembly. Geez they couldnt make some sleeker flashing lights for it??

The wheels look to be about 17's

20B 3 Rotor 07-19-08 03:13 PM

still, everyday going to work would be heaven, you could rip on it and not worry about the consequences

twomucboost4u 07-19-08 03:54 PM

Would be kinda funny if you popped the hood and it had a mean ass turbo lol... Re-Amiya or FEED tuned lol

Chris

RockyZ 07-19-08 04:04 PM

Japanese cops can afford to have their police cars blow an apex seal every 60k?

Scrub 07-19-08 04:13 PM

You're talking about the plexiglass being aerodynamic??! What about the HUGE lights and speaker attached to the roof?

Rookie84 07-19-08 04:21 PM

They have GT-R and STi police cars as well... Anyway, the FD police car is probably pretty old and not in use much.

mrb63083 07-19-08 05:04 PM

Wow... don't run from this one. :)
