Condolences! he will be missed. have two Rob Golden things to share.
the first is at Sevenstock 4, which is the first big one, we kept bumping into each other, and he's just cool. great guy.
second, we both used to work at Almaden Mazda, he's a little older than me so not at the same time. so i'd hear stories
his REPU, which he apparently was still using as a DD, had a 13B PP engine in it, and it would do 0-100mph in the length of the Chevy dealership.
people were impressed with that even 10 years later...
(its an aside but we took roll call of the techs that were there in 1997, when the current service manager started, and its not good!)

Definitely will be missed. Speaking of his Repu, last I saw him was a couple years ago when I went to pick up some rebuilds, got to go out to lunch with him and he drove us in the repu, you can tell he just loved that truck. Definitely was a great guy.
May he rest in peace.
Still have one of the first runs of Pineapple's idler pulley kit (early 2000s?) in my car so I feel like I'm carrying a very small part of his legacy in my FD.

What an amazing guy. He always made time to chat rotaries with me when I'd call him. He'd let me pick his brain, sharing his knowledge while always being humorous and humble. A big loss for all of us in the community. The Good Die Young Indeed. Rest in Peace Rob.

Catching them at a light, you can probably guess the rest. The Chevy dealer folks were not fans

The PP Repu hadn't been a daily driver for some years now.
