my set up: yellow konis/eibachs, BBS RS ll 18x8.5-215/40, 18x18-265/35

front well measures 24" rear 25.5", stock front lip 4"

right now, my car is on the highest up front, the middle in the rear and it looks like it's jacked up! :( does your looks pretty decent? was thinking lowest in the rear, middle in front.. anyone try this setup?

heres how my car looked when i tried on the volks (keep in mind, stockers on the other side, so i dont know if that made any diff?): http://www.vintagerouge.com/te37/CRW_2765.jpg

Koni Yellow Sport shocks, Tein S Tech springs, 265x35x18 & 245x35x18. All 4 springs on the highest setting on the shocks. All the shocks are on the softest setting, I like the softest the best, I think it rides great (especially because I was used to my MX6 with coilovers and blown stock struts), but it really does ride good, not really much harsher than all stock. It rides too stiff and harsh for the horrible PA roads around here when the shocks are on the hardest settings, so I never take them off the softest setting. Sometimes the tires barely rub the plastic directly above the front tires, never the rolled fenders. These springs do make the car sit about the lowest out of any other lowering springs, I love the height, very very happy with my setup. Click on pictures below.

wow, do i regret selling my s-techs for the eibachs now :(

nice car!

tom94RX-7 08-28-05 01:14 PM

Thanks, I chose the s-techs because I like to have my cars low without being too low, and after seeing pictures of the eibachs I didn't think they made the car low enough. I thought the s-techs would be perfect, and they are for me, and I beleive they are alittle stiffer than the eibachs so a little better handling.

I love those Moda R6 wheels! I just wish they didnt weigh so much: " Moda R6 Cast 18x8 28.6lb" :(

I love them too, even though they are heavy. I don't really care for the looks of most rims especially the light expensive ones, so I got what I like that I think looks best and because they are a reasonable price. The car is fast enough that it is hard to tell if the extra weight slows me down at all, I guess it does a little but I don't really feel it, it is not a night and day difference.
