Reverse light switch problem

Ok my 94 just failed inspection because the reverse lights won't come on. I checked the bulbs and they look fine, the guy suggested taking out the reverse light switch and then putting it back in. Two questions where is it, pics would really help, and will that work or would I need to get a new one? Thanks.

The reverse switch is screwed into the side of the transmission. I've seen them with the wires broken off during a transmission re-install.

Use the shop manual to determine which sensor is it, it's a 2-wire sensor if memory serves. That circuit is really simple, it's most likely something with the switch or the wiring at the switch.

Found it in the electrical repair manual. It's found in section F1-2 and F1-27. (Pg 127 and 152 if you use search bar)
