Has anyone coated theirs? Benefits and disadvantages?

 

pros: much quieter, and less droning. kinda looks like a cat to fool a dumb inspector.

cons: cost about $50 more than a regular midpipe.

EDIT: my bad....i just noticed you were asking about coating, not the actual midpipe itself. sorry...can't help you there.
