Rear wing recommendations?
Folks,
I'm looking for a high quality rear wing that actually provides downforce for road racing/track events. Adjustable would be nice, but it doesn't have to be (kind of like the looks of the old Racing Beat larger-then-stioock-style). I don't really care for the looks of the '99+, however, it's better than some of the universal "tack-on" wings out there. I have also looked at some of the Japanese wings for the FD, but most are overpriced and of questionable functionality. For example, C-West and Mazdaspeed wings use something like a 4 inch chord (why not use the stock wing?)? Gimme a break. Many of the Speedvision WC, Grand-Am and Porsche Club guys use these: http://www.lindseyracing.com/944bod5.htm http://www.lindseyracing.com/project/page14.html (bananna /Viper ACR-style wing at the bottom) http://www.gt-racing.com/catalog/GTRpg30-39.pdf (items 426-431 in FG or CF) What'ya think? Thanks- Gene |
Those are fugly IMO! I like the 99' and some gt style but not those :(

If I decide to buy a big ass wing like the RE, I'm going to pick a functional one. Gene |
Gene those ones in your links are nasty
the last one one car that looks like a 944 looks like a huge cobra r spoiler It's hard to pick spoilers IMO I think that would be the last thing on the car I would mess with later Snook |
