Question on boost gauge

I just got my boost gauge in the mail and got it all hooked up. Autometer Sport Comp (mechanical) I went out to see if it had the 10-8-10 pattern and it did, then after that i got on it again in 2nd gear and it went 10-5-10, is that alright or is there something seriously wrong because it did have a 10-8-10 a couple of times, i tried it about 4 times.

a vacuum hose probably popped off somewhere... here is some good info http://www.autosportracetech.com/RX-...leshooting.htm

That's what is called a low transition - when the secondary is properly prespooled, the transition only dips to 8psi.

I suggest running a search on '10-5-10', '10-6-10', or '10-7-10'

I did a search on that website TwinTurbo SE7EN Alot of good info. I'll check somethings out and see if there is a slight leak anywhere, I never did zip-tie the hoses onto the T-fitting because they went on pretty tight, maybe i will do that and see if that makes a difference maybe it is leaking a little around that.

I doubt that's the issue. It's more likely a popped off hose or a failing solenoid or actuator.
