Hi I am most likely going to buy and FD in the near future and I was wondering if their is any engine better than the other as far as performace goes or are they all the same, I know that theres R1 and touring, single, and dual turbos and what not but which one is the best and how do I tell one apart from the other. Also if I do a JDM engine swap to a higher class engine will any mods be transferable such as turbo, intake, intercooler etc... Thanks.

 

All FDs of all years came with the same engine. Please read the FAQ thread before asking general questions. Thanks.
