Shouldn't every car be so lucky...Your fuel filter is mounted above your differentialal it should be replaced every thirty k or so. it is a bitch, i know this, but deal with it. two bolts and it's out.

You know you need a new fuel filter if you are leaning out when you hit 4500 rpm (when the secondaries come online). the increase in fuel demand willl drop your fuel pressure, and lean you out showing that you need more fuel. DO NOT DO THIS on a repeated occcurance...it will blow your motor. Take hede and get a new one from the factory.

If you don't know when the last time it was changed, change it now and start keeping track of it.
