Put on a midpipe and got a quest

Alright so I got a Midpipe on my car along with the rest of my mods on my car. I actually just put the pipe on this weekend. I just now had a chance to test and check to see if I got boost creep. Two things cam out of my test:

1. It's way to frick'n loud @ WOT for a street car here in LA.
2. I got boost creep.

My solutions are only to:

1. weld a magnaflow muffler to the pipe
2. port my wastegate.

Now heres my question...Do you think that if I add the muffler will I still have to port my WG or will I have enough restriction to stop the boost creep.

The reason I ask is because:

1. I am incredibly lazy and like to know what I am getting into before hand.
2. Trying to budget $$$ to what I am going to need. ( I am going to have to take my turbos to the shop to have my mechanic port for me...only $80 and I trust him more than myself when it comes to dremmiling.)

You'll still have to port the wastegate with the muffler welded in. If you didn't, getting a midpipe over a hi-flow cat would be pretty worthless....

Dude,

Sell the Midpipe to someone who doesn't care about the noise level and buy a resonated Midpipe from Jason($269 shipped). I swear my car is so much quiter with the maganflow muffler welded inline. The car seems even quiter than my HF Cat. The backfiring even went away. I hated that the most about the MP.

As for the boost creep. You can make a ghetto restrictor plate to place in between the MP and Cat back to reduce flow a little so that you don't get creep.

im not gonna go with a restrictor plate. I might as well just keep the cat in if im gonna do that.

I can also just put the magnaflow in myself. It will be a lot cheaper than $269.00
