pros and cons
what are the pros and cons to a nonsequential turbo set up since i will be going to single turbo in a few months once i have that much cash
|
1 pro is a much more simplified engine bay..1 con is that you don't spool as quickly as you do when running sequential
|
if you are going single, why do you want to go non-seq for just a few months?
anyways~ pro: simplified engine bay, less hoses to worry about, simple boost pattern, easier to stay off boost when you need to (street use, driving with cold engine) con: lose some low end torque... |
Pro: easy to diagnose problems, linear power band, don't have to worry about solonoids and vacuum lines popping off and breaking.
Con: no instant boost, lag...although I see 7psi at 3000rpm and full boost by 3500rpm :) |
