Problems!

Alright guys I have to pass VA emissions. My airpump is not connected but I can connect that. My main concern is that im running a PFC with non-seq. Also the emissions shop said that my EGR is not hooked up. My question is can I put the hook the egr up without the rats nest and what not? I have no codes or anything of that nature. I really dont know much about the EGR or even what it looks like.

PLEASE help me out. haha.

or if n e one knows a hookup in VA im willing to put up some cash.

THANKS.

OK so I found that the 93 fd's dont have an EGR ( unless its a cali car). Is this right? Yes i searched but couldnt get a definitive answer. And if this is true why does the shop not know this??? Are they just dum or what.

non-sequentials shouldn't matter so long as the emissions **** can't tell it's modified. In MD if you fail your next one is free. That said if you bring the fail card back with your emissions people on the board might be able to help you program the pfc to pass.

There's a really good thread on MD emissions somewhere. search it up.

If you're willing to make the drive you can borrow my commander to change your settings.

Not so:
The 93 non-cali.has a vacuum controled EGR with no electrical feed back.
The 94 non- Cali. has a vacuum controled with electrical feed back (same as all Cali cars)
The 95 non-cali. has no EGR what so ever.

1. If you aren't willing to help yourself, take it to a knowledgable FD shop, they can hook it back up. Given the age, it probably needs to be cleaned out anyway.

2. If you are willing to help yourself, the EGR is documented in Section F of the FSM.
