Problem with TB

Well i messed up i was putting my greddy elbow back on the car and i put the top right bolt on finger tight, went to tighten it got about 1/4-1/2 turn and the stud broke right off. What should i do, could i take it to have the stud removed, or am i gonna have to buy a new TB.

It seems to be sealed pretty tight, but i don't want to drive it with 3 bolts holding the elbow on.

Yup same thing happend to me a while back. Same stud too. Remove the TB and take a pair of Vise Grips and remove/unscrew the the stus and get new one in there. Or you can use a bolt insted of a stud, like others have done. Simple.

Now its a left handed stud right, so i would go the opposite the normal way right?

Well i tried the vise grips way and the damn thing wouldn't move at all!!

no it just twists out. get it out. dont break the piece sticking out off or it will need to be extracted. if it wont budge spray some pb blaster on it go to the store and get a stud removal socket that will fit that small shank size
