Problem with first start with GForce ECU

Right now I'm only running a DP and CB, but just today I bought intake, midpipe, and GForce Engineering ecu that was pre-programmed for these mods + IC. I decide to install the ecu first to prevent running lean. I got everything swapped out and checked the plugs in the back of the ecu a few times, held the brakes for 15 seconds with the battery unplugged, and then plugged the battery in and started it up. Heres the problem.

The car started up and went to 1000rpm, but it is backfiring like crazy and the boost guage was reading between 2-3 vacuum. I waited a minute or so to see if it would settle but it didnt. Does anyone know what the problem could be? The car ran flawless with the stock ecu.

Please help

I would advise you to double check your install procedure.

Did you do anything else to the car while installing the ECU? I would suggest swapping the stocker back in to determine if it is for sure the ECU. Also, when you have the G-force computer out, check for bent pins.

YAY! I just pulled all the plugs and put them back in and it started up fine. One must have been backed out a little. Yay
