I have the window sticker for my 94 touring/pep white w/ black leather, 43,600$! I paid $4500, YES!
|
^ Damn! It's nice being the original owner isn't it? i wish I was.

My 93 R1 sticker says $36,015, but that includes a 2000 additional dealer markup, which I know the original owner didn't pay.
Base price was $32,500. The R1 package was $1000. The floor mats were $70. Shipping was $350. Oh and here's the kicker...the window sticker says the estimated annual fuel cost is $947. :rlaugh: |
In 1992, they where AU$73k here. An absolute rip-off......
I read in a USA press release in 1992 they where priced at US$33k but dealer charges & discounts could change that |
My base model (midyear 94) was stickered at about $34,000, but the dealer discounted it to about $30,000. I got hosed on my trade-in, however - a 91 300ZX Twin Turbo.

I am a second owner, and the original owner (who is my neighbour) had an original price quotation sheet. 1994 PEP package was $ 49,000 CAD.
I beleive most were between $46,000 and $52,000. |
lmao 20k would be like a daewoo or kia haha

...I found this invoice posted long time ago on a similar thread as this. Check it out below:
By the way, I think the demise of the early-mid 90's import turbo cars was mainly in the price and the introduction of the SUV's which later would be a huge success. Compared to yesteryear now, SUV's today cost as much as these import turbos back in the day...making more bang for buck. :( Apparently, this thought doesn't apply to Porsches and such. |
I bought my '94 in '96 for around $22,000 with 13,611 miles on it. The only way you were getting an FD anywhere near $20k would have been a used one......

I too have the orginal window sticker, though I am not the orginal owner (I am the 2nd owner), and my base model automatic equipped car sold for $33,770. And yeah, it has the $947 estimated annual fuel cost too. ;)

Bought my first Montego Blue one in 1998 w/ burned O-ring(s) and evidence of a well repaired minor front end collision...dude was asking 15.5 and I paid 13.2K. Not a bad deal at the time.
