Power Window issue FD JDM 1993

Hello, my windows stopped working both at the same time.
My car is a 1993 JDM rx7.
read JDM
read JDM

First, I tried to check the fuses with a USDM wiring diagram, but it's obvious the 30A fuse is nowhere to be found on my JDM car. Where the f is it? (not by the drivers foot, thats for the USDM version guys!)

The regulator does its job when directly wired to the battery (window goes up and down).
I did the fix/clean of the main switch, but result is windows still don't work.

Then I decided to check if there is power going through the wires of the switch connector (inside door, panel removed) with ignition switch at ON.
I get reading of 0.05V only.

Is there an expert who can help me by pointing out where and how to look for a diagnostic or a solution plz?

thanks

when my windows stopped working, it was the wiring harness that runs from the chassis into the door..not the switch.
Infact, it was some of the pins in the big connector there that had rusted away.

by big connector you mean the X20 and X21 I guess ?

I may end up taking everything out if I can't find the source of the problem otherwise.

Ummmm, I dunno whats its called. Its big, its white, and its behind the black rubber thing that protects the wiring, which you can see when your door is open.

Just try to jumper the power from before that connector to after it and see if it works :icon_tup:

It happen once to me too , I taught the motor was gone so I took out the door panel and hooked up electricity to the window motor and it worked flawlessly , I then knew that wasn't the problem

I finally fixed my PW with a new circuit...
I realized my CPU2 control fonction for the power windows may have fried, so I hooked up a +12V source and a chassis ground to the 2 pin connector from the CPU2.
My windows now work flawlessly. :)
