has anyone done a T top on a FD. can it be done? how much would it cost.

IMHO it would look really shitty, not to mention kill the structural rigidity of the car.

Well, it might look ok but I agree the structural integrity would be hard to maintain. I have seen alot of twisting on my rear strut towers, probably would get worse without roof support...IMO

Not to mention crash worthiness. The cabin and much of the front and rear clip are one peice. Cutting holes in the roof will probably buckle the passange compartment in a crash before the front and rear sections, obviously not a fun time when sitting inside!

I personally think that t-tops would not be worth it on the car.
