ported engine
First of all i have searched the forums for hours but didn't find any answers to my questions so if you know any other thread pls put a link here.
Now i am about to order a ported engine from japan because i am in Cyprus. I am thinking about Knight sports,RE Amemiya or Pan speed, and i will send them an email tonight asking about prices. Money is not a problem and since i am going single and intend to work more than 20psi i will ask them to put ceramic Ianetti 3mm one piece seals(also because we have no reputable tuners here so 3mm for safety reasons). I will ask them about street ported enlarged aggressive(what the hell is the side porting the japanese mention all the time?).
Now i have the 99spec engine, although i beleive it has no differences from the older one for personal reasons i want a 99spec core to be used. What is the code for the 99spec engine?
Except the apex seals and the porting shall i ask for anything else as well? like oil mods or lightweight rotors or anything else you think may be good for the engine?Money is not a problem.

IIRC, the 99spec motor was the same internally, and the differences were all made on the supporting parts (exhaust, turbos, intake). The "side porting" theyre talking about are the intake ports, which are on the side housings 
As far as oil mods, there are some people that will argue their benefits, and some that say stick with what has worked for a long time. I'm indifferent on that matter, but if u have the money, it couldnt hurt.
