A Poll Please

It maybe me or a family curse but how many times have you ordered parts that JUST DO NOT FIT or DO NOT WORK. What is it about the FD that makes it such a BITCH!!!

1) Ordered three cluches forn SR MOTOR SPORT before I got the right one

2) Ordered a rear tower brace from http://www.boomplustoys.net/ that came from the OZONE.

3) Ordered parts from http://mariahmotorsports.com/ and got parts that were not even related to my order.

and try getting your money back. They even blame you when their part number doesn't match their catalog picture.

You're ordering parts from the wrong places. try www.GothamRacing.com or www.rx7.com.

Never had this problem and I have ordered from lots of places. However, I usually stick to the better known retailers (RX7.com, Gotham, Rotary Extreme, Racing Beat, etc.).

I hear you loud and clear Doc. I've gotten quite a few parts that just don't fit worth a damn. I think what has pissed me off the most was how crappy all the fitment of my Greddy FMIC kit was. Oh well, with a hammer here, drill there, bolt there, even my worst fitting parts ended up alright

I agree with GoodfellaFD3S and moconnor, if you order parts from reputable companies such as Rotary Performance, or Gotham, you won't run into these problems. There are a lot of companies out there trying to sell cheaper parts. Just forget them and buy the real thing.

I guess your talking about aftermarket not Mazda parts?

Had to buy a trim clip for my Dad's Jaguar a while back. Needed the Chassis number and everything. Fifteen shades of plastic trim! Seemed a bit tough for part that cost 60p.

Agree with Moconner though, all the companies he's mentioned I've used and they are 100% helpful.

I'll tell you what chaps my ***, is when you call up in the AM and order something two day air, or overnight, and then you clearly see that it didn't go out until the next day when it shows up a day late... totally wasting your overnight charge.

I've even verbally checked w/ the person on the phone confirming it would go out that day, and it still doesn't. Sometimes you see it "checked in" at UPS or FedEx on the correct day, but you see it never leaves the home town for an additional day... so you know they put it in the computer and generated a tracking number, but didn't have it available for pick up.
