Pls help me identify the connectors (engine bay)
Hi everyone,
I can't find where those 2 go: - 1 way connector (sensor??) - 1 flat male terminal Thanks in advance for your help guys! http://img43.imageshack.us/img43/5936/connecteurs.jpg By oliv at 2010-07-06 |
maybe.. knock sensor?
|
It is the knock sensor, the mate is behind the alternator
|
Thanks guys! I love this forum!
Any idea about the flat terminal you see just below the oil pipe in the same axle down to the knock sensor connector? |
Oh by the way, can you tell if the fact that this sensor being unplugged would cause shitty low and bumpy iddle and drive the engine to stall finally?
|
There are only a couple of connectors in that area. That one is missing the body, so it is either the white A/C compressor or the black low coolant sensor connector. You are going to have to see which one is missing and figure out which one that is.
Neither of those effect idle or driveability |
Must be the coolant one then as the alarm keeps on bipping when I try to restart! What's weird is that I looked around for the mating part but could not find it... Can you help me locating it?
|
The mate is on the engine harness, you are the only one that knows where you routed it to. It exits the harness near the oil filler neck.

Whow that would definitely help! Thanks!
