Please help!!!!!!!!!

guys i need to know if Methanol is safe to use in the engine for air care purposes. I have failed air care with only a down pipe and catback on idle. I dont know if it may have happend to the fact that i had my AC running the whole time during the test, anyway i failed. Now i need to pass the stupid test before the end of this month or i can't get insurance!!!! I have heard that methanol will make pass easy, but I'am wondering how much to use and if there is any risk to the motor and turbos, and what i should watch out for once the methanol is in.

not methanol, you run denatured alcohol. Methanol would make smog worse i believe. Don't use too much denatured alcohol though. i'm not sure what the right ratio is, but i wouldn't drive the car hard with that stuff in your tank. Car will run like crap. your car for sure SHOULD pass smog with those mods. I'd change the plugs (if you didn't already) with stock heat range plugs and check to make sure the 02 sensor is still working too.

don't do it. fix your car properly. It should pass with what you have unless your car is in poor repair
