Pexi Power Intake, is cleaneble?
I Have the Apexi Power Intake system, may i clean it or i have to replace the filter?
Where i can find the only filter???? I saw that here http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/pric...es/Air_Filters But wich one is the correct one??? Thankssssssss |
you can just clean it. use a high pressure hose, and rinse it down well. make sure you get it dry before you put it back in

Uh, shouldn't he be cleaning it with a K&N type filter cleaner and then applying K&N oil?
I thought that was the routine. |
thats the picky way to doit. i dont really think it makes a difference either way. all your doing is removing soot/dirt and bugs that restrict the airflow

Oops, I just oiled mine. It shouldn't hurt though. Plus, it was dirty and oily when I pulled it out just from sucking in all of the crap under the hood. By the way, I would still recommend the K&N cleaner as it cleans any oil or other sticky debris off the filter.
Don't want to start a new thread, but there is a Mazda dealer that sells cheap OEM parts that is always referenced on this forum, I just can't find his info right now. Any help? |
