Pettit Unlimited ECU, need advise

I have a 93 rx-7 currently with the following mods: cb, mp, dp, ic

I'm looking to buy a Pettit Unlimited ECU but I need some questions answered first.

Is the Unlimited ECU pre-programmed or does it need to be matched with the mods on my car?

If it is programmed for set mods, what mods are those?

I think that I've seen that it's tuned for cb, mp, dp, ic, and intake. Would it make any difference if I don't have intake? Would you think that I should get an intake system?

I would also like to hear from those people with this ECU. What kind of power output does your car make, what do you think of the ecu etc.

Thanks

feel free to email me with any suggestions

I believe they have maps for various bolt-on combinations (I think I remember being asked what mods I had. It's been a while. :) ). It would be best to call Pettit and talk to them about the setups of their ECU:

It might make a little difference as the car might run a little richer. If the ECU is tuned expecting more air flow, then having less will have a richer A/F ratio. It shouldn't be TOO much richer, at least not enough to cause any problems.

As far as getting an intake, if you are happy with the stock intake, then keep it.
