OMP leaking oil?
 

is it common for the oil metering pump to leak oil?
i think the O-rings on mine have gone bad and need to be replaced.:(

just wondering if anyone else has had this problem before.

My OMP is leaking but it looks like the banjo bolt was not properly set when I had my rengine replaced. I'm having it fixed soon and have a spare OMP that I bought just in case things go bad.

Where is the oil comming from on the OMP?

Yes, OMPs do go bad. Mine was leaking and I had it replaced under warranty. The part had to be flown in from Japan and was $1400. Labor was about $800. :eek:
