oil injector vacuum lines

I wonder if this option has been considered?
Thinking about a solution to the oil injector vacuum lines, I may have found a solution. Trouble is, my car is currently in a winter disassembled condition and cant test anything. Anyway, here is what Im thinking.
Tee the oil injector vacuum lines doownstream of the brake booster vacuum check valve, this way the oil injectors always have vacuum and will never see boost. I realize this may affect the brake performance and would surely be a liability issue. I am not suggesting that anybody do this but some intelligent additions to this thought either way would be interesting. If anybody has a loose oil injector handy and a Mighty Vac, Put a little vacuum on the oil injector and see if it holds. Also, pull a little vacuum on the brake booster and see if it holds, if it does, this should work ?

Sorry Manny,
I guess I could be more specific, Maybe this belongs in Single Turbo forum.
Anyway, when changing over to a single turbo, the vacuum source for the oil injectors goes away, its one of the 2 nipples on 90 elbo on turbo #1. It always supplies vacuum. Not sure how much vacuum. Ok, So, some guys just cap off the oil injectors or just leave them open to atmospheric pressure. I am thinking that with the brake booster, you will always have some vacuum to work the oil injectors.

Couldn't you just weld a nipple to the intake or fab an intake extension with a nipple on that and connect the air filter to that? Or are you talking about huge turbo's that just use a screen...that'd be a problem.

The brake booster has a check valve on it so that it's not exposed to boost. (Don't need brakes when you're boosting the car.) You could accomplish the same thing by just reusing a check valle from the rats nest on a vacuum tap anywhere.

But that doesn't accomplish what you were trying to do.. provide full time vacuum to the injectors.

Here's my solution.. I added a 4" 30 degree bend to the front of the turbo and added 2 taps, one for the oil injectors and one for the crankcase vent. (You can't see the oil line in the pic but it's that blue vacuum line that dissapears behind the intake pipe.)

well, i'm a second genner and i'm having a problem with keeping the vac lines on the injectors. the injector in the front housing, the vac line keeps blowing off(i think) every time i take the UIM off, i notice the vac line is off the injector and there are puddles of oil in top of the motor. do i need to buy another vac line assembly, cause these lines are old and hard?
