CA odometer problems

When i turn on my car(93 rx7) the odometer dosnt light up but if i turn it off and disconnect the battery for a second or pull the main fuse next to the clutch pedal and then put it back in it will light up and stay on until i turn the car off. when i turn the car back on it will not light up. any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Probably a bad capacitor or two on the odometer circuit board.
