Odometer not working

Odometer not working
I have a 93rx7. The odometer stopped working the other day. The speedometer
still works. I can still see the LCD display being faintly lit when the car is turned on
but it does not display the miles. Anything I can check before changing the
gauge? Does the odmeter have anything to do with the ecu?
