FL Odometer Bulb?

if your odometer bulb is burnt out, can you still see the mileage?

just wondering if our problem might be the bulb rather than the capacitors?

Tried to see the numbers, but seems like there's nothing there.

Thanks for any help

There is no bulb. It's a digital screen like your clock radio.

Wrong.

If that bulb goes out you won't see the mileage numbers.

Since it's an LCD I didn't think it had a bulb either and the body elec troubleshooting manual doesn't say much about the odometer. Fortunately for the OP I was wrong too.

That bulb is probably for the back light.

^ He's right. The miles still show up, but very dim.
