Odd Cell, no code...

I was driving around this afternoon, car was warm and was under 3k just normal non-aggresive driving and the CEL flashed on real quick then was gone, and a couple seconds did it later.

So I stopped at autozone they told me that it was a jumper cheat to flash codes, I told them not to worry about it I would come home and check it out on the web. Well not even thinking I get in the car and check the keypad on my PFS PMS and see that I have an error. 0200 spark output.

So I come home and pull up the CEL code info go out and jumper it and don't get a code, so I recheck everything and still nothing.

Could my PMS unit be clearing out the cel or is it possible it is flashing the cel to let me know there is a problem. Or in the far left field is there some reasons that a cel might flash up and not throw a code?

Perf Mods:

-94 Auto
Downpipe
Midpipe
Exhaust
Intake
PFS PMS

Thanks,
Kyle

Nobody has had a CEL flash and dissapear and then be unable to pull a code? I had it happen on my way to work this morning. I was sitting at a RxR crossing waiting on the train, when I started to pull off it flashed on, flashed off, flashed on and stayed on for a bit the off.

Some CEL codes aren't stored, so once you shut the car off the code resets.

Can you do that? Just keep the car running and jumper it, the code should repeat if its in the system right?

Thanks
