Non-Seq question for Dont Be A Rikki

Hey, I was checking out your site for how to convert to non-seq. I really want to do it, since I have been having boost problems pretty much the entire time I have had my car, and its been a huge pain in the ass. I just have a couple questions. Now, I know I have to cap off the vacuum lins to the turbo pre control solenoid regardless, and then I have to switch the two connectors (I think..). My question is, what size screws o studs or pills do I need to use to block off the hoses and where do I get them? I have a streetport from Pettit racing, Pettit intake, downpipe, midpipe and exhaust, so when would I begin to build boost with Non-seq? Also, my car runs super rich, would I be able to crank up the boost to 12psi safely, or would this still be too much for the stock fuel system? Thanks alot in advance to Rikki and anyone else who can help me.

Well what are your mods? I have had alot of people ask a similar question. I used what ever you have laying around. Alot of the "blocks or pills" can be looped. Meaning just connect one hose to another: looping it. just follow the diretions and it should work awsome.yup swap the pre-control for the wastegate and it is money. The fuel system is strong but dont go pass 12psi on all stock parts...IMO

Thanks for yor quick reply I really appreciate it. Ok I am glad I got the connector switch right, I read a few posts where people seemed to be a bit confused about that part lol. I guess I will have to do some running between Home Depot and Discount auto parts to get all the little things I need. I'm also throwing in the manual boost controller when I do the switch (courtesy of Home Depot Racing) hehe. My mods are a mild pettit streetport, pettit intake system, pettit downpipe, midpipe, and greddy exhaust. I also have a boost gauge of course and an A/F ratio gauge. I'll take your advice and keep her at 12psi. Thanks again!

Bu since I'm running so rich wont it hold up to a little extra boost?

BE very carefull do not exceed 10 psi or KA BOOM to your ZOOM ZOOM. set the manual boost controller to 10 psi and get an ecu upgrade ASAP. I would go with a PMC from PFS as it is awsome for NON-SEQ IMO. here is a link www.PFS.cc

Damn Dave I did not think you would actually think that I go by the readings of those things. And as far as a sniff test that is good at idle but try hanging out of your car @90 plus MPH. Dont talk trash before you know the facts.

oh yeah 2000 post congrats maybe 1/2 of them were actually helpful:D just busting a little:rofl:
I started it now. Here it comes Daves little pics and stuff......
