The diffuser looks good.

The hind flanks don't merge well with their fenders.

I think the irredescence or grain of the paint is mismatched between front fender and door/rocker.

Overall, a visual beauty, with aural ugliness in the idle.

I wanna see a 4 rotor fc3s now

i hate the ass end too

94RHDFD 08-13-04 12:01 AM

nice video

Kas 08-13-04 08:11 AM

I think Scoot did a great job, shows just how good they are at custom fabrication. The lines of the FD suffered though.

RE-Amemiya 08-13-04 08:35 AM

Don't like the rear end....and this video is real old. I had it a long time ago!!

blueskaterboy 08-13-04 08:49 AM

back from the dead. but id like to know. how much does the car weigh?

SurroundedBySe7ens 08-13-04 12:44 PM

That car is amazing.

Sickass7 08-13-04 02:25 PM

after seeing the vid with more engine shots and sounds, I am in awe! I did see the first vid a long time ago and wasn't that impressed. That 4 rotor sounds really bad ass. Anyone know if that front bumper is available to the public? I really liked the looks of it. The ass end though does look like a 90's monte carlo and caddy ass mix and matched.

RXASSASIN7 08-13-04 03:30 PM

wish they would have showed a lot more of the engine and body love the front fenders, wheels, color, i do like the rear end especially the rear bump-er , wish so much that they sold that headlight kit (HEAR THAT JDM IMPORTERS) i want those headlights. same headlights on the curve rx7 www.curve-ad.com . they dint show it "scooting" down the street that i wish they had. the car looks like a total concept look its great in my opinion!

Sickass7 08-28-04 12:13 PM

anyone know where I could get that front bumber???????

Nowhere. It's a complete one-off kit, and you'd need more than the front bumper to make it all fit together.

Benrex 08-28-04 01:16 PM

nice lines

this car is sooooooooo sick it should be against the law :bigthumb:

speedx7 10-27-04 07:25 PM

papsmagu 10-27-04 08:06 PM

mistaxko 10-27-04 09:58 PM

The 3 + 4-rotor shaft company your thinking of also does centre bearing centre plates & associated through-bolts to suit.

Called PRECISION ENGINEERING, Auckland. N-Z
Contact - Goeff Bruce

They have just done a 4-rotor kit for a well know Sydney based rotary workshop.

As for the SCOOT 23A (573x4) powered RX-7. That is easily the best engineered multi rotor FD RX-7 I have ever seen for street use.

You little girls sitting on your fat asses complaining about it wouldn't be able to do half aswell as these guys if you had twice the budget. That includes me too.

Its great for the rotary Mazda scene to have companies doing these cars in place of the expected Supra or Skyline we so often see.

Just click "Movie Page" and watch it

Japanse tuning car magazin "OPTION2" is conducting special coverage of SCOOT's new RX7, and this website is one of those.

I personally like the shot at a tunnel with the marvelous 4 rotor sound !!

right, why i am i the only one with all japanese on my page and cant read "movie page"? i guess ill click around until something happens

That is a great looking car, I love how the car looks overall
I don't like the scoot hood on normal FDs, but this is a totally different car
how many widebodys look good and flowing? They all bulge out and look obviously just flared out way mroe than stock, stock flares look great and subtle, this car is just another level, reminds me very muich of the clk-gtr with a godlike v12 rotary sound coming from the depths within. Very much so a supercar and not a modified FD.
I like how it looks, the tail looks great for a car, it has totally new lines, not just changing like the weird RE Porsche kits.

I give it 3 thumbs up, wish I could see it in real life.

Found some interesting pics from a Japanese website. It looks like someone else got a Scoot conversion or at least the bodywork. The headlights are different, but otherwise it looks the same as the silver car.

3RotorRocket 04-23-05 03:10 AM

rear end = ugly

Neakor 04-23-05 03:29 AM

wow...it sounds great...
have u got the performance data of this bad ass?

even those lights look like they came straight off of the Lotus Elise, i bet they do better than any pop-up conversion out there

i agree, i don't see this as just a "modified FD". this car is a complete custom, and it looks like a factory supercar. if someone were to see this car vs. a car with the RE-A widebody kit at a show, they'd know that the RE car was based off of a stock car, and this one they'd be like "woah, who makes that car?!?" check out in the video, about halfway through, when the car slowly rolls past the camera car how the front fenders flow straight into the stock doors, down the rear quarter panels, and finish at the rear diffuser with the one line. it it one, flowing masterpiece. two HUGE thumbs up to the people at Scoot.

israel 04-23-05 02:11 PM

the body work on this and the scoot car is by tamon design www.tamondesign.com . the scoot version has those phonky headlights and the scoot hood, both of which differ from the tamon 'kit'.

(i apologize if this is repeated from somewhere else in the thread)

$14,000 for that red one's body

Domestic513 04-23-05 02:39 PM

I love everything about the scoot cars. The rear end looks good I think. It's amazing what people come up with when it comes to fabbin cars. I just can't get over this car it's amazing in every aspect.

satoacs 04-23-05 11:19 PM

is this the first thread about this vid, or has everyone just forgot that this is really old?
