Need some advice about some turbos

Here's the deal. The only problem w/ my car since I bought it has been the turbos. The turbos on the car have always been fine, sounded good & boosted good just leaked hella oil into the manifold. Ok fine, so I buy a used set that as fate would have it were shot. Nice waste of money. Had them rebuilt and I'm getting all kinds of noizes after installing them. Every time I track one down I get a new one. Some I can't even find, it's as if they're coming from inside the damn turbos. I've got rediculous exhaust leaks and I've doubled the gaskets thinking that would help. Not to mention the fact that they are leaking oil from the seals straight onto the exterior manifold. Nice rebuild job. Anyway, I'm tired of taking them off, putting them back on, taking them off, etc. What I want to know is what a good single setup to have is and what is involved w/ installing. What I mean is what other things am I going to have to get besides the single turbo kit? I am just so tired of the problems w/ these twins. Am I going the right route, I am just so frusterated right now. Any advice would be appreciated.

You would need some sort of programable ECU, such as the ever so popular PFC+Commander. Then you would need to get some more fuel to the engine...Injectors, fuel pump..etc...You would need a new dp for sure, im not sure bout the midpipe though....

Thats just my thinkings on the subject, I dont have a single, this is all just what I have gathered from reading...

If your not ready to give up the streetability of the twins why not get the BNR State 3's? Goodfella swears by them...

If you're happy with the car, brand new 99-spec twins are about $2500. Much, much cheaper than going single. If both sets of turbos were dumping oil, I would suspect maybe there's another issue at play than just bad turbos...

BNR's are $2350 but you must supply Bryan with a good core set of turbos, which means no badly cracked hotsides (Bryan may have a good core you could buy). I just got my BNRs Tuesday...:)
