Need help with installing fiberglass front bumper

Picked up a fiberglass bumper and need help installing. If any one has experience working with these parts please chime in. I removed all the brackets for the OEM bumper but the fiberglass bumper seems to stiff to be able to transfer the parts over. And I'm not sure where to add the stock bracket used to attach the bumper to the frame as the fiberglass bumper already has a extended tab, only issue is it doesn't look sturdy enough to support the bumper. Any advice would be appreciated.

It seems like those fiberglass tabs are supposed to replace the aluminum OEM tabs but it looks to flimsy.

The stock bumper brackets don't generally get used when you install an aftermarket bumper. Mine has an issue with sagging because of the fiberglass not supporting the weight of it over time. It got that gap between the hood and bumper which is common and I hate with a passion so I made a bracket out of aluminum that fits the profile of my aftermarket bumper that installs under the fiberglass you're talking about. My bumper didn't have that gap initially, you'll have to ins tall it and check fitment.

Thanks for the information :-( . sagging or issues with fitment isn't what I wanted to here lol. Guess I'll have to take it to a pro to get it installed properly.

well since you have the bumper already and have your car apart already, you should just try to install it and see how fitment is. Duraflex quality hasn't been known to be the greatest unfortunately. You will see if it needs to be fit by a professional or not.

I cut off most of the useless fiberglass, leave just enough to act as a flange.

Next I removed the aluminum brackets from the OEM bumper cover, and riveted them to the fiberglass flange that I left for this attachment.
