Need Help, Engine Blown...:(

My compression is low in my rear rotor...bad news bear huh? What else is new...I figured i might as well go ahead and get a stage 3 street port since i'm planing to go big with my car...I've heard of BNR in Alabama but I was wondering who i should go with? Any ideas on someone close to Chattanooga, TN that does good work? Please let me know asap...thanks guys

BNR stage 3's are replacement twin turbos, not an engine. the safest and most popular choice is to go to steve kahn at gotham racing in TX, if you check gothamracing.com he has varrying degrees of porting, all the way up to a full bridgeport and he has a VERY reputable name especially on this forum as one of the best tuners/builders anywhere, mention Steve Kahn to anyone on rx7club and they know who you are talking about. can you say "ROAD TRIP"!?

There are some very good options in TN also, as well as surrounding states. The regional forum should be a great start.

My mom is incharge of this operation, me being 18 and in college i'm out of money, it's hard for me a lone to make my payments. I already talked with her about the guy in TX she said she dosn't trust someone that far out of state. She is looking at a engine built by Mazda and she says they claim the engine is brand new? Any ideas on convincing her to go somewhere else guys? Lol i'm about out of options....and i'll be running 350+ to the wheels a stock engine won't hold up, i don't think for any matter of time. I have talked to Bryan at BNR and i know he has the stage 3 turbos but he also does engine building on the side and i was talking about stage 3 street port, sorry for the confusion.

tell your mom to stop being such a tard, this guy is THE Most reputable engine builder anywhere. He will build you an engine exactly as you want him to and make sure it works good - it will also be warratied.

WTF your mom is on about not trusting anyone that far out of state i dont know, WTF does location have to do with anything?!

A Mazda reman engine (which is what your mom is looking at i think) is a great option and probably the best place to start if your going for big power, but to just dismiss gotham because its too far is plain dumb.

If your going to start tuning it, take it to steve - end of conversation.
