Need help!!!

Where does this hose go to. Since I a friends let me borrow his intakes so I could do my smog test. The reason is b/c I bought my car with apexi intakes, I just want to know where this hose leads to since I don't have it and neither does my friend.

leads to an area below/to the right of the box...intended to just be a vent and is not connected to anything
