Need explaination

Can someone help a Turbo newbie out? I am confused how the whole air intake on this car works. I understand how trubos work, but I was just looking under the hood of my FD and got confused. Air come in underneath, right above the radiator, then goes to a box right before the intercooler, correct so far? Then it seems some goes through the intercooler which cools air that goes to the intake manifold up the big tube on the right side? Some of the air goes up and through the plastic thing that takes air to the filter, air goes through the filter box and filter, then up what seems to be another intake? How can there be 2 intakes? Please try to explain this, since I know I have explained it incorrectly.

assuming stock car:

1. air enters intake tract, opening is in the nose of car
2. air splits between intake box, intercooler, and battery
3. air going to intake box is filtered
4. filtered air is fed to each turbo individually (two big tubes) and to the air pump
5. air is compressed by each turbo and goes into y-pipe
6. air goes into IC and then into throttle bodies

EDIT: bov, crv, and air pump discharge into air intake box to muffle the noise of their operation

that is why there are 6 hoses connected to intake box (both turbos, air pump intake and discharge, bov and crv discharge).

So you born knowing everything about an FD? Everyone has to learn. If you don't want to help, don't respond.

I didnt say that, You have 97 posts, i would figure you know how your intake track goes. I didnt mean to come off as sinical as that sounded, but im suprised that somone would buy a car like a fd without knowing how an air intake pipe worked.

I fully understand NA systems, but this is my first turbo car, and I have only owned it for a week. I have a few posts because I asked a lot of questions before buying. I am very mechanically inclined, so I will learn fast, but will prob need some help along the way. I am installing a DP this weekend as my first project, so I assume I will learn a bit doing that.

Children behave.

Str8Down, I was just as confused as you about turbo systems when I first purchased my car. Your best bet would be to do a google search on turbo systems. Try to find a layout and an explanation on how they work. Also while you are at it try to find an article or explanation as to what each part of your system does.
