Near stock dyno run

Went to the local dyno day today and put down 234hp on my best run... no torque # because the dyno operator had the spark wire clip on the wrong wire, giving me 109ft-lbs. Being a domestic shop, he didn't think anything was wrong until I reminded him that my car is not a Honda :D

Unfortunately on my subsequent runs, the shortfalls of the stock intercooler befell me, and I made two runs at 222hp/210ft-lbs and one at 217hp/207ft-lbs. If I had more time to let it cool between runs, the numbers probably would have been better, but there were a lot of people and I wanted to keep things moving. When I get home I'll scan the dyno sheet... AFRs stayed in between 11 and 10 for the most part.

My power-affecting mods are a 3" downpipe and a 4 gauge grounding kit on an otherwise stock '93 touring with 58k.

don't it suck that your power just just down after the first one, at least it did for me too. a healthy fd dynos at 215-225? looks like you added anywhere from 10 to 20hp with the dp.

Your power looks about right. Most stock FD's dyno right at 225 rwhp. The dp is reputed to add 20 hp, but if it's in conjunction with a stock main-cat, I can see where it'd add only 10. Nonetheless, the dp gets the heat further away from the engine, which is good.

Nice numbers..I rode in a stock FD the other day..ah, I miss the days..I was actually jealous his car was so quiet..those are good numbers for just one mod though
