n00b modding question

Alright, I understand the 3 mod rule. I've got the new ECU to compensate for this.

Performance mods I am buying:

-Power FC
-Downpipe/midpipe from RX7store (only $275!)
-catback
-intake

I know I need a new ECU, what else do I need? Would I need a fuel pump? What about a boost controller? I am very concerned about longevity of this motor. Do I need bigger injectors without the FMIC? These mods should put me somewhat north of 300rwhp.

Thanks in advance to everyone for their help

If you are alrady buying all that, you don't need a new ECU. Power FC is the best ecu out there. I don't know what else you need, because I don't know how far you want to go.

300 rwhp is a little optimistic. If you are shooting for that much, you should also get some 1300 cc secondaries and maybe a fuel pump.

3 mod rule doesn't apply to mid-pipe.

You will need fuel.

Thats sound advice, and I do plan on having them tune it. Tony knows his stuff, as does Mike.

Still curious to see what fuel mods I will need for the full exhaust and intake. Also if I need a boost controller to prevent spikage

The new RX-7store is so close to my house next year..

Hey Mike,

I'll call you later tonight. I don't need my taillights done right now anyways, Im not going to be driving the car that much before June anyways. Curious to see what you think of this new DP/MP combo - if it works as well as the HKS DP and the SS DP the rx7store sells. I'll call you tonight on your cell

Do you already have the reliability mods then? I hope you have a boost gauge, water temp gauge, etc. I would also think you might have some boost creep with a midpipe without a ported wastegate. Either way GL with the car.

I'll be going with 1300s and a supra TT fuel pump.

should be enough to support downpipe, midpipe, catback, intake with powerFC
