my white smoke culprit
i was in a delimma friday morning because of whtie smoke bellowing from my car when i arrived at work. MY CULPRIT...ended up being a connector that slighty melted, has this happened to anybody else? ive never had that happen with a car before.

Yikes!! What connector? I'm guessing it shorted on something? Or arced?
|
it didnt short, thank you rx7godmanlord whatever. the smoke was coming from here:
http://www.fushca.netfirms.com/images/smoked.jpg it moved back to wherever its supposed to be. what a freak accident. |
Well, that spot is where your turbos are located. That could be the source ... weird that it went away after replacing a connector. Exactly what connector did you find melted? Sounds like a turbo issue ... but turbo issues don't go away. They usually get worse. :(
|
turbos...that is what i assumed it was at first, but the only abnormal looking thing from my friday morning episode was that connnector. i have not seen nor smelled anything since. its still in there like it is, i just moved it out of the way. i have yet to figure out what that connection is seeing as i spent the day at defensive driving school. DOH
