Great looking car, it's absolutely gorgeous. I actually love the tan seats with the black interior, looks great IMO, plus black leather gets so hot in the summer, tan isn't as bad.
It's funny, i've got a friend with an 03 tribute that same color...but I never thought about the color at all until I saw these pictures.

I think there are a lot of colors out there that would simply look better on a different vehicle. Kind of like ,the same thong bikini looks way better on a babe than a fat mama.

donny,
was just curious, so you strip your stock touring to metal and begin a totally new project.
why did you took off the windows and everything. still can't understand why you litterally took everything off the car just for a paint and conversion when there should be alternative ways of doing it.

It amazes me that some people are willing to do things the easy way. You would have a **** paint job if someone painted your car and didnt remove all the moldings, glass etc.. Maaco, for example.
I gutted the entire interior so I could paint under the carpet, etc... Someone who is any bit into a complete color change or restoration project would appreciate and understand this process and why I did it this way, even if you cant see the paint. Its a mental thing.
P,S. If you would have read the entire post, all of this has been talked about already, why I did what and when.

I know if you take one of your already black panels into a body shop supply store and tell them what you want to do they should be able to get you what you need. You can use one of the panels from the rear hatch area, I think all of those are always black, in every year and model 3rd gen.
