my gas mileage improved 20-25% and car runs the best it ever has

With gas prices the way they are, I know this will get your attention.

No BS! I am consistently getting 20-25%+ better gas mileage than I did before installing this new device. It has eliminated inconsistencies in how my engine performs through the entire rpm range - not even a hint of breakup / missing under any load. Smooth continuous power exceeding what I had prior to the installation.

What is interesting is that in reviewing many of the threads discussing this type of component, the general concensus was that it is not needed for anything less than a highly modified engine. I beg to differ with that point of view. My engine is lightly modified, has low mileage on the original oem setup, and i have completed all the reliability mods. I was blown away at the difference in reliable smooth consistent power and performance I was now able to enjoy.

The added benefit of better gas mileage was unexpected and couldnt have come at a better time. At one fill-up per week, gas at $3.00 per gallon, I would see a return on my investment in about 8 months.
Not bad!

For those of you that have to rationalize purchases and upgrades for your 7's to your spouses or whomever, the preceding information is what you need to sell them on the efficacy of this component.

At this point, youre probably thinking, "damn dude, get to the point, what is it?"

Anyone want to venture a guess? haha.

TO BE CONTINUED!!!!

Not driving as often? LOL

Or did you do one of those conversions where you can turn trash into fuel? I saw that on a delorian one time... yeah... talk to Dr. Brown... something about 1.21 Gigawatts or something...

Tease!

RX7WEEE 10-13-05 12:10 AM

Power FC?

OR

HKS twin power?

I'm guesssing the HKS twin power because you said that people dont need them untill higher HP numbers.

MrRx 10-13-05 12:14 AM

as you can tell no one wants to guess, why not stop being a douche? and just tell us what your "wonder" product is.

dpeak 10-13-05 12:15 AM

I enjoy being a "douche" every once in a while. Im just having a little fun with you all. My girlfriend hates it when I tease her by keeping her in suspense and on the edge, but when I finally give in, she loves it even more and then comes back for more.

so call me Mr Massengill or the marathon man cause i can hold off for a while and keep you guessing.

LaRazaUnida 10-13-05 12:29 AM

lemme guess...you finally lost weight, or your gf is no longer riding in the car with you.

I'll guess a tune from steve kan

rotarypower101 10-13-05 01:03 AM

Based on 1 tank of gas a week=$480 over 8 months, that does fall in the category of twin power price range, though I don’t think that would increase mileage, just increase ignition capability at high loads.

Could it be a real expensive block of wood encrusted with cubiczirconium placed behind the gas pedal?
Maybe an inexpensive rotary hybrid conversion from the future?

dhahlen 10-13-05 01:03 AM

bah... traitor

hmm let me guess...your FD is being towed?

rotarypower101 10-13-05 01:32 AM

Everything about your hints say ignition upgrade to me.

Did you ever procure any modeling files in any formats? Preferably in cad based.

maxcooper 10-13-05 02:02 AM

Ignition box, probably HKS TwinPower. I will be very surprised if it is something else. However it could just be masking some other problem, like old plugs or worn out plug wires.
